Principle of Assay
This kit provides a convenient tool for detection of mitochondrial Complex V Activity. The principle is that Complex V hydrolyzes ATP to produce ADP and Pi. The activity of Complex V is determined by measuring the formation of Pi. It can be used to determine activity in animal tissues, plant tissue and cell samples.
