Principle of Assay
This kit provides a simple, convenient and rapid mitochondrial malate dehydrogenase activity detection method, which is suitable for the detection in animal tissues, plant tissues, cells, bacteria, serum, plasma, and other samples. The principle is that mitochondrial malate dehydrogenase catalyzes the reduction of oxaloacetate by NADH to produce malate and NAD+, resulting in a decrease in light absorption at 340 nm.
