Principle of Assay
Nitric oxide is quantified indirectly after reduction of nitrate to nitrite using an improved Griess reaction. Nitrite forms an azo dye that is measured colorimetrically at 540 nm.

Shipped at 4°C. Store at -20°C in the dark. Refer to the Protocol Manual for storage conditions of individual components. Do not use past expiration date!

A 96-well microplate or microglass cuvette is required for this assay.
