Principle of Assay
The kit provides a simple method for detecting peroxidase (POD) activity in a variety of biological samples such as plant tissues, bacteria, fungi or cells . In the assay, POD catalyzes the oxidation of specific substrates by hydrogen peroxide to produce colored products with characteristic light absorption at 460nm.
