Principle of Assay
Peroxidase Assay Kit (A303888) utilizes enzyme catalysis in an immunoassay format to detect universal Peroxidase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 96-well microtiter plate is coated with specific antibodies or antigens. Samples and standards are added and incubated, followed by enzyme-conjugated detection molecules. Upon addition of a chromogenic substrate such as TMB, the enzyme catalyzes a reaction to produce a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after acidic stop solution is added. The color intensity is proportional to the amount of Peroxidase and is measured at 450nm for quantitative analysis.
