Principle of Assay
This Human HLA-E ELISA Kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Human HLA-E in plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
An antibody specific for HLA-E has been coated on a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and the HLA-E present in each sample is bound to the wells by the immobilised antibody. The wells are washed and Anti-HLA-E Antibody (Biotin) is added. After washing away the unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted into the wells. The wells are washed again, before a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and colour develops in proportion to the amount of HLA-E bound. The Stop Solution changes the colour from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the colour is measured at 450 nm.
