This antibody recognises the heavy chains of mouse IgG, and the light chains common to the majority of mouse immunoglobulins. This antibody has not been cross adsorbed against other mouse immunoglobulins, and has been found to react substantially with antibody light chains common to all mouse antibodies. Therefore, significant cross reactivity to non-IgG primary antibodies may occur. No antibody reactivity was detected against non-immunoglobulin mouse serum proteins. This antibody may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.

A Mouse monoclonal antibody of the IgG1 isotype was run under reducing conditions on SDS PAGE and transferred to a PVDF membrane. Precision Plus Protein Prestained Standards were run in lane 1.1 µ and 0.25 µ of antibody was run in lanes 2, 4 and 6 and lanes 3, 5 and 7 respectively. Protein detection was carried out on lanes 2 and 3 using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L Antibody (HRP) (A282606) at a dilution of 1/10,000. Detection was carried out on lanes 4 and 5 using Anti-Mouse Kappa Light Chain Antibody [OX-20] (HRP) (A281413) at a dilution of 1/1,000. Detection was carried out on lanes 6 and 7 using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG Fc Antibody (HRP) (A282586) at a dilution of 1/5,000. Visualization was carried out using the Chemidoc Touch Imaging System.

Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L Antibody (HRP) (A282606) is specific for both the heavy (50kDa) and light (25kDa) chains whereas Anti-Mouse Kappa Light Chain Antibody [OX-20] (HRP) (A281413) is specific for the light chains.

Detection of recombinant Human CD33 with Anti-CD33 Antibody [WM53] (A281980) in a Western Blot analysis with Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L Antibody (HRP) (A282606) at a 1/10000 dilution as the secondary antibody. Different dilutions of Anti-CD33 Antibody [WM53] (A281980) are shown on lanes 2, 4, 6 and 8 at 1/200, 1/500, 1/1000 and 1/2000, respectively. Recombinant Human CD33 probed with Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L Antibody (HRP) (A282606) only at a 1/10000 dilution was included as a secondary only control (Lane 10).
