This antibody recognises mouse interleukin-12 (IL-12).Interleukin-12 is produced by activated B lymphocytes and macrophages. The properties of IL-12 include the stimulation of growth of activated T lymphocytes and the development of TH1 CD4 +ve cells and CD8 +ve cytotoxic T cells.Goat anti Mouse Interleukin-12 antibody neutralizes murine IL-12 activity with an ND50 for mIL-12 (2ngml-1 of between 0.002 and 0.002μg ml-1.

Reconstitute with 0.5 ml of sterile Phosphate Buffered Saline containing 0.1% Bovine Serum Albumin. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Gently mix after reconstitution.

Supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline.

Lyophilized: Store at -20°C. Reconstituted: Store undiluted at -20°C, avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
