Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Neisseria meningitidis Orf1.
Specificity
This antibody reacts with Orf1, a 28-32 kDa Neisseria meningitidis outer membrane lipoprotein. Orf1 is highly conserved in a set of meningococcal strains representative of all serogroups and does not exhibit any similarity to known sequences of other organisms.
Slices containing purified FrpD250-6xHis-tagged protein were excised from 10% SDS-PAGE gels, grinded, mixed with 1 mg/ml of aluminum hydroxide in PBS, and used to immunize a rabbit.
