Anti-NF-L Antibody [DA2] (A85452)

Cells grown from adult rat brain using method described by Evans et al. Large cell in middle is stained with Anti-NF-L Antibody (green). Another type of neuronal lineage cell was stained with Anti-Alpha-Internexin Antibody (A85441 | red). These cells were mitotic but had several characteristics of neurons.

Immunofluorescent analysis of rat frontal cortex section stained with Anti-NF-L Antibody (1:500 | red) and Anti-GFAP Antibody (A85307 | 1:5,000 | green). Following transcardial perfusion of rat with 4% paraformaldehyde, brain was post fixed for 24 hours, cut to 45 µM, and free-floating sections were stained with the above antibodies. The Anti-NF-L Antibody labels cell body and processes of pyramidal neurons, as well as dendrites and axons of other neuronal cells, and Anti-GFAP Antibody stains the network of glial cells.

Western blot analysis of whole tissue lysates using Anti-NF-L Antibody (1:5,000 | green): [1] protein standard (red), [2] rat brain, [3] rat spinal cord, [4] mouse brain, [5] mouse spinal cord. The strong band at about 70 kDa corresponds to NF-L protein.
