Rabbit anti PCF11 antibody recognizes pre-mRNA cleavage complex 2 protein Pcf11, also known as KIAA0824. PCF11 is important for 3' processing of pre-mRNA and transcription termination, links transcription with mRNA export, and can selectively attenuate expression of transcriptional regulators (Kamieniarz-Gdula et al. 2019). PCF11 is autoregulated, and removal of the regulatory mechanism leads to global activation of polyadenylation sites close to promotors (Wang et al. 2019).
