Name
Anti-TLR3 Antibody
Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to TLR3.
Specificity
This antibody recognises human CD283, otherwise known as toll receptor 3, a 103.8 kDa member of the evolutionarily conserved toll-like receptor family (TLRs), expressed at high levels in the placenta and pancreas and also expressed by dendritic cells.TLRs play an important role in the recognition of invading microbial pathogens during innate immunity, acting through adaptor molecules such as MyD88 and TRAF6. CD283 acts via a cytokine signaling pathway to induce the activation of NF-kappaB and type I interferons, and has been shown to recognize double-stranded viral RNA, including that of the Influenza A and West Nile virus.Rabbit anti Human CD283 antibody has been shown as suitable for use in IHC on EL4 cytospins at 1ug/ml.
