This antibody recognizes an intracellular epitope, between amino acids 85-100, of AKT1. AKT / PKB protein kinases family has three mammalian members identified to date (AKT1, AKT2, and AKT3). Human AKT1 has a predicted molecular weight of 55.7 kDa.
