Rabbit anti AKT3 antibody recognises RAC-gamma serine/threonine-protein kinase, also known as PKB gamma, RAC-gamma, and STK-2. It plays a critical role in the AKT signalling pathway, and belongs to the AGC subfamily of protein kinases. AKT3 is involved in metabolism, cell survival, angiogenesis, and tumor formation (Baselga and Scaltriti. 2016). It is stimulated by insulin (Barthel et al. 1998), PDGF, and IGF1 (Sandirasegarane and Kester. 2001). AKT3 is a critical regulator of the growth of triple negative breast cancers (Chin et al. 2014).
