This antibody recognises ATPase family AAA domain-containing protein 2.ATAD2 is a 159 kDa member of the AAA ATPase family of proteins. AAA ATPases regulate gene expression and are frequently dysregulated in multiple myeloma and other cancers. ATAD2 selectively binds to acetylated histone 4 and has been shown to regulate a number of cellular processes including cell proliferation. ATAD2 has also been shown to contribute to tumor progression in several cancers including hepatocellular carcinoma.
