Specificity
The antibody recognizes an epitope EF loop of D1 domain of CD4 antigen, a 55 kDa transmebrane glycoprotein expressed on a subset of T lymphocytes (“helper“ T-cells) and also on monocytes, tissue macrophages and granulocytes.
