This antibody recognises a restricted CD45 epitope encoded by the CD45 C exon and will bind and immunoprecipitate both the ~210 kDa RC and ~226 kDa RAC isoforms. MIL15, binds to an epitope alternative to that bound by clone MIL5, also against CD45RC differing in their ability to stain B cells in tissue sections.
