This antibody recognises DFF, also known as DNA fragmentation factor subunit alpha, DFF1, DFFA, inhibitor of caspase-activated DNase or ICAD.DNA fragmentation factor (DFF) is a heterodimeric protein of 40kDa (DFF-40) and 45 kDa (DFF-45) subunits. During apoptosis caspase-3 cleaves DFF into the DFF-45 and DFF-40 fragments.
