This antibody recognises rat monocyte chemo attractant protein-1 (MCP-1), also known as CCL-2.Rat MCP-1 is a chemokine of approximately 12 kDa, which plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue macrophages.
Reconstitute with 0.1 ml of distilled water. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Gently mix after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended. For functional studies do not add sodium azide

Storage
Lyophilized: Store at -20°C. Reconstituted: Store undiluted at -20°C, avoid freeze / thaw cycles. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
