Anti-SHBG Antibody [31.7E2]

Mouse monoclonal [31.7E2] antibody to SHBG.

This antibody recognises sex hormone binding globulin, a ~45 kDa plasma glycoprotein dimer. It is an androgen transport protein which binds and regulates the free concentration of steroid hormones and is involved in steroid signalling at the cell membrane. Mouse anti Human, Sex hormone binding globulin antibody, clone 31.7E2 does not recognise alpha fetoprotein, human serum albumin or thyroxine-binding globulin. It has minimal cross reactivity with cortisol-binding globulin (0.1% ) and human IgG (0.003% ).
