Sheep anti human decorin antibody recognizes the C-terminal region of human bone proteoglycan II, also known as decorin, PG-S2 or PG40. Mutations in the decorin gene are associated with congenital stromal dystrophy of the cornea (CSCD), a rare autosomal dominant eye disease characterized by bilateral corneal clouding (Bredrup et al., 2005). Decorin is involved in autophagy of endothelial cells (Buraschi et al., 2013).
