Human + Mouse + Rat Cetuximab Pharmacokinetic ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Cetuximab levels in human, mouse and rat serum and plasma.

Direct Sandwich (Quantitative)

Human + Mouse + Rat Cetuximab Pharmacokinetic ELISA Kit is a direct sandwich ELISA that provides quantitative determination of free cetuximab targeting EGFR in serum and plasma. The assay uses a microplate coated with anti-cetuximab antibodies to capture cetuximab molecules present in biological samples. Bound cetuximab is detected using an enzyme-linked anti-cetuximab antibody developed against the Fc region of the molecule. After substrate addition, color intensity measured at 450 nm is proportional to cetuximab concentration and is calculated from the standard curve.

Samples should be collected as serum or plasma using EDTA or heparin anticoagulants and stored at or below -20 °C for up to one year. Prior to analysis, calibrators and test samples should be diluted 1:100 with assay buffer by adding 5 µL of sample or calibrator to 495 µL of assay buffer. Mix thoroughly and use immediately. Do not store diluted samples.
