Mouse monoclonal [A53-B/A2] antibody to Cytokeratin 19 (Biotin).
Specificity
This antibody recognizes the rod domain of Cytokeratin 19 (40 kDa), an intracellular antigen constituting intermmediate cytoskeleton filaments. Cytokeratin 19 is not expressed in hepatocytes. It is often co-expressed with Cytokeratin 7.
This antibody is conjugated with Biotin LC-NHS ester under optimum conditions. The conjugate is purified by size-exclusion chromatography; removing unconjugated antibody and free Biotin.

Western blotting analysis of human cytokeratin 19 using Anti-Cytokeratin 19 Antibody [A53-B/A2] (Biotin) (A86358) on lysates of HT-29 cell line and MOLT-4 cell line (cytokeratin non-expressing cell line; negative control) under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Nitrocellulose membrane was probed with 2 µg/ml of biotinylated mouse anti-cytokeratin 19 monoclonal antibody followed by IRDye800-conjugated streptavidin. Cytokeratin 19 was detected at approximately 41 kDa.
