This antibody recognises special AT-rich sequence-binding protein 2, also known as DNA-binding protein SATB2.SATB2 is a DNA-binding protein involved in transcriptional regulation and chromatin remodelling. SATB2 is mainly expressed in the nuclei of epithelial cells in the colon and rectum as well as neurons in the brain (Uhlén et al. 2015).
