Specificity
This antibody specifically recognizes the phosphorylated form of human SST5 at residue Thr333. It detects high-efficacy agonist-induced phosphorylation in Western blot analysis, but not phosphorylation induced by PKC activation.

Analysis of agonist-induced phosphorylation of Somatostatin Receptor 5 (SST5) at Threonine333. HEK293 cells stably expressing SST5 were untreated or treated with 1 µM SRIF or 0.1 µM PMA for 30 min. Lysates were immunoblotted with anti-SSTR5 (phospho Thr333) antibody (A334546) at 1:1000 (upper panel). The blot was stripped and reprobed with phosphorylation-independent anti-SSTR5 antibody (A334481) at 1:1000 to confirm equal loading (lower panel).
