This antibody recognises human forkhead box, also known as O3A FOXO3A, FKHLR1 and FOXO3, a ~95 kDa member of the forkhead family of transcription factors. FOXO3A is ubiquitously expressed and is an important regulator of apoptosis and the cell cycle. FOXO3A triggers apoptosis by inducing the expression of genes necessary for cell death.
