Anti-SSTR2 Antibody (A334542)

Western blot confirmation of Somatostatin Receptor 2 (SSTR2) in mouse brain. Brain homogenates from SSTR2-deficient (SSTR2-KO) and wild-type (SSTR2-WT) mice were immunoblotted with anti-SSTR2 antibody (A334542) at 1:1000. SSTR2 receptors were detected in SSTR2-WT but absent in SSTR2-KO mice.

Immunohistochemistry - Anti-SSTR2 Antibody (A334542)

Immunocytochemical analysis of Somatostatin Receptor 2 (SSTR2) in HEK293 cells. HEK293 cells stably expressing SSTR2 were untreated or treated with 1 µM SRIF for 30 min and stained with anti-SSTR2 antibody (A334542) at 1:200. SSTR2 receptors were localized to the plasma membrane in untreated cells (0 min) and in perinuclear vesicular clusters after 30 min of SRIF exposure.

Immunofluorescence - Anti-SSTR2 Antibody (A334542)

Immunofluorescent detection of Somatostatin Receptor 2 (SSTR2) in human enteric ganglia. Sections were dewaxed, microwaved in citric acid, and incubated with a mixture of anti-SSTR2 antibody (A334542) (red) at 1:100 and mouse anti-SRIF antibody (green). SSTR2 receptors were observed at the plasma membrane of enteric ganglia cells, in close proximity to SRIF-containing nerve fibers and terminals.

Immunohistochemistry - Anti-SSTR2 Antibody (A334542)

Immunohistochemical detection of Somatostatin Receptor 2 (SSTR2) in human pancreatic islets. Pancreatic sections were dewaxed, microwaved in citric acid, and stained with anti-SSTR2 antibody (A334542) at 1:100, followed by biotinylated anti-rabbit IgG and avidin-biotin solution. Color was developed with 3-amino-9-ethylcarbazole (AEC), and sections were counterstained with hematoxylin. SSTR2 receptors were detected at the plasma membrane of nearly all pancreatic islet cells.
