Specificity
This antibody specifically targets the phosphorylated form of human SST3 at residues Ser337 and Thr341. It detects agonist-induced phosphorylation in Western blot analysis, but not phosphorylation induced by PKC activation.

Analysis of agonist-induced phosphorylation of Somatostatin Receptor 3 (SST3) at Serine337/Threonine341. HEK293 cells stably expressing SST3 were untreated or treated with 1 µM SRIF or 1 µM Octreotide for 30 min. Lysates were immunoblotted with anti-SSTR3 (phospho Ser337 + Thr341) antibody (A334544) at 1:1000 (upper panel). The blot was stripped and reprobed with phosphorylation-independent anti-SSTR3 antibody (A334545) at 1:1000 to confirm equal loading (lower panel). SST3 receptors formed stable dimers.
